A collaborative centre focusing on the study of human and animal disease mechanisms.
The Centre for Comparative Pathology brings together a wide range of pathology professionals from across the University of Edinburgh, including medical and veterinary pathologists; imaging and genomics experts; and medical, veterinary and biological researchers.
Based at the Easter Bush Campus, with virtual links throughout Edinburgh and beyond (to partners in government labs, research institutes, universities and The Pathological Society), the Centre for Comparative Pathology is unique in integrating histopathology with high throughput molecular analyses, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics & in-vivo imaging in a wide range of species.
With accredited facilities and training programmes the Centre also offers a large number of training opportunities to existing and new pathologists.
