Genetics Society Genes and Development Summer School Workshop

August 2017

Doug is organising the Genetics Society Genes and Development Summer School Workshop

The purpose of this workshop is to support vacation research by undergraduate geneticists.

This year, 31 undergraduate students attended to this 3 days workshop hosted at the Institute of Human Genetics and Molecular Medicine (IGMM) at The University of Edinburgh

28 - 31 Aug 2017

Scheme: Grants are available to provide financial support for undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience in any area of genetics by carrying out a research project over the long vacation, usually prior to their final year. If funded, the Student will be invited to attend a workshop that will take place between 28th-31st August 2017 in Edinburgh to allow an opportunity for all students to get together, discuss their findings and start to develop their professional contact network. The Genetics Society will reimburse expenses for travel within the UK and provide accommodation. More at: http://www.genetics.org.uk/Funding/GeneticsSocietySummerStudentships.aspx
