This June, the Roslin Institute welcome two new Postdoctoral Research Fellows to the team's midst.

Athina Papadopoulou, joining the Houston group, hails from Greece and arrives hot on the heels of completing her PHD in Aquatic Veterinary Studies at the University of Stirling. Having previously worked as an ichthyopathologist and providing experience with species such as the ballan wrasse and sea bass.

You can learn more about Athina via her People page.

Agustin Barria Gonzalez, also joining the Houston group, boasts excellent biochemistry experience. Having worked in the field of Chilean salmoniculture to identify dangerous pathogens, he will apply his skill to studies on genetic variation for resistance to Tilapia Lake virus (as it relates to farmed populations of Nile Tilapia).

You can access more information on Agustin on his page in the People section.

We are thrilled to welcome two more skilled teammates to the Roslin Institute, and look forward to even more growth in the coming months!
