DNA, Dolly and You!

Thursday 7th – Saturday 9th April at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh

Our interactive family workshops at the Edinburgh International Science Festival discovered what makes you who you are.

Over 200 people joined our scientists from The Roslin Institute to find out about DNA, Dolly and You over three days at the Edinburgh International Science Festival. Families learnt about inheritance, DNA and what made Dolly the Sheep so special while getting involved in lots of activities, from making their own colourful chromosomes to solving our genetic mystery using the science behind blood groups. We even learnt how to make a clone!
