Knowledge exchange and impact
Guidance on how to implement your plans for enhancing impact from your ongoing research.
We have developed and curated a set of guides on how to engage with stakeholders including policy makers and the public; and how to evaluate your engagement and evidence the impact.
We run regular sessions on how to engage with and/or develop partnerships with external audiences and organisations.
Logging your impact on PURE
PURE is the University's Current Research Information System (CRIS). Information held in PURE relates to research staff and their publications, projects and activities information. PURE allows for relationships and associations to be created between research inputs and outputs, providing a broad picture of research activity at the individual, research unit, School, College, and University levels.
We offer bespoke support for colleagues in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Science. This includes:
- Conversation revisiting the plan and addressing any barriers to engagement
- Identifying indicators of success and sources of evidence of impact
- Making internal and external connections based on our networks
- Talking through key messages and approaches before meetings with external stakeholders including policy makers.
