Whatever your role at the University of Edinburgh, freedom of information, data protection and records management affect you and how you do your job.

For example:

  • you may need to handle information about an individual
  • you may need to know what to do when someone asks for information or
  • you may be asked to organise information in line with records management best practice so your team can find specific information quickly.
