Biography

Background

I am current a research fellow working on the project -- Machine Learning in Medical Imgaing. I had BEng in Software Engineering, MSc in Operational Research and PhD in Computer Science.  Before I work as a research fellow in the University of Edinburgh from Sep, 2019, I worked as a postdoc in Machine Learning Group, University of Sheffield.

Research summary

Machine learning, reinforcement learning and numerical optimisation methods, with applications to neuroimaging, clinical imaging and medical records.

Current research interests

Deep learning models and interpretations on clinical imaging for diagnosis and prognosis.

Project activity

We aim to develop robust medical image analysis systems that can successfully process multi-modality heterogeneous medical imaging – i.e. Computed Tomography, CT, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRI.
