Background
Having worked for the NHS, Edinburgh University Department of Pathology and for the MRC Human Reproductive Sciences Unit, Susan came to PPLS in 2005 to head up the Research Office.
Susan has overall responsibility for the strategic management and oversight of the School Research Office. The School is dedicated to enabling the highest quality of research for colleagues at all stages of their careers. Susan works closely with the School Research Committee on the strategic aims and delivery of School, College and University initiatives. These include administrative oversight and support for the Research Excellence Framework (REF); School open access publication compliance; assisting research colleagues in securing external research and infrastructure funding.
