Research summary
Simon’s current research interests focus on the relationship between science, literature and society from the Scientific Revolution of the seventeenth century to the present; science fiction; and the literature, culture and politics of the Restoration period. In the past, he has also worked on Romanticism, continental philosophy, literary theory, postmodernism, and drama and theatre. He would be happy to discuss potential projects with research students wishing to work in these areas.
