Background

I am a first-year PhD student studying Sociolinguistics with Dr. Christian Ilbury and Dr. Sumin Zhao. I am interested in the intersection of language, gender, and sexuality, and language use on social media. Currently, I am investigating how non-normative individuals in China construct their unique identities in online and offline contexts.
