Background

In 2016 I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with my BA(Hons) in Psychology with Sociology, before graduating from the University of Strathylde in 2017 with an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology. I am now undertaking my PhD at the University of Edinburgh, investigating personality. Specifically, I am concerned with the predictability, heratibility and stability of personality nuances, particularly from the Minnesota Twin  Family Study (Bouchard, Lykken, McGue, Segal, Tellegen, 1990).

Qualifications

MSc Research Methods in Psychology

BA(Hons) Psychology with Sociology

Research summary

My interest is currently on personality nuances - the individual items within a personality questionnaire. Using the Minnesota Twin Family Study (MTFS), I will be investigating the stability, the heratibility and the predictability of these nuances.

Past research interests

My Masters Thesis investigated how we opt to use nouns or pronouns, whilst my Honours project looked at the possible relationship between social facilitation, working memory and personality - in particular how an individual's level of extroversion related to their performance in a working memory task whilst under observation from others.
