Background
Dr Richard Holt holds a PhD in economics from the University of Bristol.
His research interests lie at the interface of macroeconomics and labour economics including:
- The role of variation of hours variation in explaining cyclical behaviour of unemployment, vacancies and job reallocation.
- Microeconomic and macroeconomic aspects of factor adjustment when financial constraints and non-convex adjustment costs interact.
- Vertical skill mismatch and inequality in labour market outcomes.
