Background

Rachel graduated with an MMATH in mathematics from Durham University in 2011. She worked as an economic and financial consultant for four years, before returing to university in 2016 to study the MSc in economics at Edinburgh University.

Rachel's main research interest is labour economics, particularly non-standard work. She is currently researching zero-hours contracts and part-time work. She also has an interest in using sports data to answer questions about labour economics.
