Responsibilities & affiliations

A key member of the School’s professional services team, with responsibility for the professional management and oversight of all matters relating to the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching administration and quality assurance processes; provision of professional expertise and guidance to key School staff; acting as the interface between College/University and the School to facilitate the flow of information, co-ordinate action and respond accordingly on behalf of the School. 

Responsible for the organisation, management and operation of the Teaching Office and the Student Support Office

Responsible for the review, development and implementation of relevant School policies, systems and procedures relating to the administration of teaching and assessment, and for ensuring that these comply with University and/or College regulations and policies.

Responsible for the review, development and implementation of relevant School policies, systems and procedures relating to the administration and provision of pastoral and academic support for taught students, and for ensuring that these comply with University and/or College regulations and policies and strategic objectives relating to ‘the student experience’.

Responsible for the provision of professional expertise, guidance, advice and management information on teaching, assessment and student support to key staff in School.
