Mrs Debra Morland

Senior Medical Nurse

Background

I started as a trainee veterinary nurse in 1991, at the Vet school in Summerhall.  I qualified and continued working at the University for a few years before going into general practice.  I returned to the Uni four months later and stayed in a variety of posts.  I am now Senior medicine nurse responsible for the nursing staff within the medicine disciplines and ICU.  I enjoy working at the University because of the varied case load and the opportunity to teach undergraduate veterinary students best practice and care for their patients.

My own family consists of a husband and small son, and fur family Freida the springer, Rufus the Springer cross, Winston the killer cat and Spring my Welsh Cob pony.
