Background
Linda is currently a fourth year PhD student enrolled in the Population Health Sciences programme at the University of Edinburgh.
She did her undergraduate degree at University College Maastricht, the Netherlands, where she took courses ranging from biology, to genetics, to psychology and neuroscience. She completed her Master's by Research degree in Integrative Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh in 2016, after which she worked for 9 months with Dr. Kristin Nicodemus and Dr. Elvina Gountouna at the Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine.
Research summary
Linda's research interests include trying to understand the effect that certain proteins have on the development of complex psychiatric and neurological disorders.
