Biography

Background

I currently work as a Teaching Technician within the Exotic Animal Teaching Facility and have done since January 2020. I am a holder of the Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Acadamy (AFHEA) teaching qualification. I come from an Animal Care background and achieved NC and HNC Qualifications at SRUC Oatridge. I have a wealth of animal knowledge through various work experience placements and previous employment, including as an Animal Rescue Officer with the SSPCA. I have a keen interest in high animal welfare and improving husbandry practices.
