Kholyn Ruran Jonathan

Thesis title: Utilising constitutional asymmetry as a tool to manage internal conflict in Malaysia.

Background

Kholyn graduated with Bachelor of Legal Studies (Hons) from University Technology MARA (Malaysia) in 2007 and obtained her LLM from the same university in 2012. She joined the Edinburgh Law School as a PhD student in January 2020. Her study is sponsored by the state government of Sarawak (Malaysia) where she works as a legislative drafter for the Sarawak State Attorney-General's Chambers since 2014. 

Undergraduate teaching

Kholyn has taught corporate law and governance subjects (2007-2013) at MSU College Sarawak, MSU College Shah Alam, UCSI University and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College in Malaysia.
