Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery (soft tissue)

Background

I qualified from the University of Cambridge with degrees in Zoology (MA, 2001) and Veterinary Medicine (VetMB, 2004). I then spent 5 years in small animal practice before undertaking a Junior Clinical Training Scholarship (Internship) at the Royal Veterinary College, London. I spent a short period in emergency and critical care practice before returning to Cambridge to complete a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship (Residency) in small animal surgery from 2011 to 2014. I was awarded a Royal College Certificate in small animal surgery in 2010 and the European College of Veterinary Specialists Diploma in small animal surgery in 2015. I worked as an affiliated lecturer at the University of Cambridge for two years and joined the Royal Disck School of Veterinary Studies in 2017 as a senior lecturer in small animal soft tissue surgery, where I have research, teaching and clinical duties as a European and Royal College Specialist in small animal surgery.
