Background
I’m an experienced learning and development professional specialising in digital capabilities and have worked at the University since 2006. My strategic role involves working in partnership with Professional Services groups, Colleges and external organisations. I lead a team of 10 staff who develop staff and student digital skills through the Digital Skills Framework, live webinars and events, online training, LinkedIn Learning and development programmes. I’m a big advocate of student internships, having witnessed first hand the excellent work our students do and the benefits they bring through adding the student perspective.
I previously contributed to graduate and management development programmes at Standard Life and have also worked for Lloyds Bank, RBS and Diageo. I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Education with The University of Edinburgh in 2017, and am accredited by The Training Foundation (TAP) and the CIPD. With a keen interest in personal and professional development, I believe that everyone can achieve great things.
