Background
Jamie-Leigh graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2017. Following graduation she moved to Calgary, Canada to pursue a Rotating Internship and explore the mountains! Here, working in a multi specialty hospital, she developed a love for Small Animal Surgery. She worked in 2 different hospitals as an Out-of-Hours clinician before moving back to Scotland in 2018.
Upon returning, she worked as an Emergency veterinarian at the University of Glasgow before taking the position as Small Animal Surgical Intern and progressing into the role of Small Animal Surgical Resident at the Royal Dick.
Jamie-Leigh has a keen interest in student teaching and all aspects of soft tissue surgery and as such is very happy to be working at the Hospital for Small Animals.
