Biography

Background

I'm a Teaching Fellow in Philosophy. My work is situated at the intersection of philosophy of mind and ethics and ultimately seeks to understand the distinctive form of sociality exemplified by human beings. To this end, I have written on eye contact, the 'feeling of self-consciousness', the experiences of shame and humiliation, and the notion of 'interpersonal connection'. 

 

I completed my PhD at UCL in September 2020, and have spent time abroad in Leipzig and Chicago.
