Background

Jacky is an experienced museum professional with over 25 years’ experience in the heritage and cultural sector. She provides overall strategic leadership and management to the University’s Heritage Collections (Access & Engagement) team and as Co-Director of the Centre for Research Collections, to the rich and diverse heritage collections of the University. She is a member of the management team leading on Library & University Collections development.

  • Associate Membership of the Museums Association (AMA)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Museums & Galleries Studies, University of St Andrews (UK)
  • MA in Egyptology, University of Cambridge (UK)

  • Convenor, University Museums in Scotland (2018-2020), Standing Committee Member (2004-present)
  • Chair, MIMO Musical instrument museums online (2015-2020)
  • Member, Coimbra Heritage Working Group (2017-present)
