Background
Dr. Isla Shill is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Injury and Illness Epidemiology and holds a Canadian Institutes for Health Research Post-Doctoral Fellowship. She completed her MSc in Kinesiology with a specialisation in Sports Medicine and her PhD in Kinesiology with a specisalisation in Sports Medicine at the University of Calgary (Calgary, Canada). Isla's resarch focuses on sport injury epidemiology and prevention in youth sport cohorts. Her PhD evaluated injury and concussion prevention strategies in girl's rugby using injury surveillance and video analysis methodologies.
