Background

Dr. Hilal Kaya is a member of teaching staff at IMES the University of Edinburgh.

After she completed her BA in English Language and Literature at Ankara University, she completed her MA and PhD studies in English Literature at Middle Eastern Technical University, Turkey. Until her post at Edinburgh, she taught English at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University.
