Background
Fran graduated from Newcastle University in 2017 with an Honours degree in Animal Science. She has since travelled and worked in Australia for six months gaining livestock experience on a 2 million acre cattle station and then on a horse racing yard and cattle farm. Since returning to the UK she has began her PhD with the University of Edinburgh, based at SRUC, on alternatives to anthelmintic use in livestock focussing on organic sheep systems in the Scottish uplands.
