Background

Emily graduated from Cambridge University in 2005 and initially worked in general practice before completing a private practice internship followed by an internship at the RVC. Thereafter she travelled to the USA to pursue a residency in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, gaining her Diploma from the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Since returning to the UK she has worked in private referral practice and then as a Staff Clinician in the ECC Department at the RVC before joining the University of Edinburgh in 2016. Emily enjoys all aspects of Emergency and Critical Care. Her clinical research interests include feline urethral obstruction and toxicology.
