Background
Dr Clarke studied Biological Sciences at the University of Manchester completing both a BSc and MRes. In 2010 she obtained a PhD in Psychological Medicine from King's College London and subsequently spent 3 years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
Research summary
Dr Clarke's research interests include genomic studies of substance use disorders and appetitive behaviours. This includes studying patterns of substance use in large population based cohorts and understanding the complex relationship between appetitive behaviour and health.
