Background
Robert Dow currently works part-time for the Clinical Educator Programme (CEP) as an Administrator. He is also an Associate Lecturer for the Open University.
He studied Music, Law, General Science, Biotechnology and Film Studies at the University of Edinburgh, and Music and Biological Recording at the University of Birmingham, completing a PhD in Musical Composition under the supervision of Jonty Harrison. He is also a keen plants person, and has completed many courses in botany and horticulture, for example, the RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture, and the RBGE Certificate in Practical Horticulture.
Currently, he is studying for the COSCA Counselling Diploma (Transactional Analysis) at Physis Scotland, where he is in Advanced Year 1. He recently completed his COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills at Edinburgh College.
He is also finishining an MSc in High Performance Computing at the University of Edinburgh. As his final project he intends to add RADICAL Pilot jobs to the backend of the Toil Workflow Management System.
He is an avid, although novice, rower.
