Background

Before joining the University of Edinburgh, Michela Prevedello held teaching positions in Italian Studies at McGill University in Montreal, at the University of Udine in Italy, at the University of Bristol and Bath in the UK. Her research focuses on:  Italian women writers; feminism and gender studies;  the pedagogy of Italian language;  methodology and innovation in foreign language teaching.

Qualifications

Michela Prevedello holds a PhD in contemporary Italian literature (University of Bristol). Previosly she has completed a master’s degree in teaching Italian as a foreign language (University of Udine).
