Background

Cathy works in the public engagement of science, bringing together her training and experience of her early career days in science education and science research. She enjoys the creativity the work provides and the stimulation of the University environment.

She currently leads the development of the community science engagement programme at Edinburgh Bioquarter, expanded from the community engagement project she initiated and developed at The Centre For Regenerative Medicine. She also teaches on The MSC Science communication and Public Engagement and is an international senior consultant in public engagement at The University of Copenhagen.
