Background
I previously worked in educational development in three other Scottish universities. I was particularly interested in student experiences of new environments, and found out about them through becoming a student myself. My PhD thesis (2004) was an insider perspective on students engaging in mechanical engineering.
I became a student on the MSc in E-learning (now Digital Education) in 2006. I graduated from this in 2010 and was delighted to join the staff of the programme in 2011.
