Thesis title: GWAS analysis of urinary traits in Scottish and Croatian populations

Background

Christina completed her undergraduate degree at Queen's University, Belfast and moved to Edinburgh to further her interest in biomedical research. She is a PhD student in Professor Caroline Hayward's lab and her project focuses on investigating genetic variants associated with electrolyte concentrations and ratios in urine to gain a better understanding of renal function and pathways related to electrolyte levels.
