Background
Callum works within Website and Communications to support users of EdWeb 2 and EdWeb, involved in the continuous improvement and development of EdWeb 2, and bespoke development projects undertaken by the Web Development Team.
He has professional interest in website development, website standards, accessibility, privacy, physical and digital security (particularly red teaming), and UX.
Important information
You should not contact Callum directly for support. University staff should contact IS Helpline, students should use the EdHelp service.
Until March 2020, he worked with Digital Learning Aplications and Media (DLAM) as a Service Co-ordinator, supporting the Learn VLE and other services including Moodle, Collaborate and TopHat. He has also been involved with technical developments contributing towards Blogs.ed, and a stand-alone EdGEL theme for WordPress. He was also LTW's migration co-ordinator for the WIndows 10 upgrade.
Prior to working in DLAM, Callum worked with the University Website Programme, working on a range of web-related projects, including supporting EdWeb and looking after the central website search. He also worked on developing and maintaining small web-based applications for editorial staff and theming work for other University departments and units.
