Acting Head of Quality Assurance and Enhancement
- Co-ordinate and oversee the University’s quality framework, to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and best practice, liaising with colleagues as appropriate.
- Proactively initiate, develop and implement changes to the University’s quality assurance and academic appeals arrangements to ensure they remain streamlined and fit for purpose, support high quality learning and teaching, and address the University's Strategy 2030 objectives.
- Support the Assistant Principal Academic Standards and Quality Assurance.
- Develop and maintain the University’s relationships with key external bodies in area of expertise and take responsibility for monitoring, interpreting and providing strategic advice in relation to changes in the external policy and regulatory environment.
- Line manage and support staff including Academic Policy Officers.
