Research summary

My PhD research focuses in the metaphysics of mind of Baruch Spinoza.  I am studying the nature of the distinction holding between Thought and Extension, and the sense in which attributes constitute the essence of the one substance.  I am also interested in understanding the influence of Francisco Suárez and Maimonides in Spinoza's account of attributes.
