Andrés joined  the Educational Design and Engagement team in June 2018. He has designed online learning for the private sector, further education and now higher education. He has worked on both micro-credential programmes and short online courses for the University. He is a huge advocate of democratic approaches to education and promotes accessible and inclusive learning models. Outwith his role at the University, he is a trustee of Artlink Edinburgh and Community Development & Events Manager with the Scottish BAME Writers Network as well as an accomplished writer and arts journalist.
