Background

Started at Edinbugh in September 2019 in the MRC Precision Medicine DTP, having completed an undergraduate (integrated) masters degree in theoretical physics at the University of Sheffield in July 2019.

Qualifications

MPhys in Theoretical Physics (integrated masters) from Sheffield in July 2019.

Current research interests

Using state-of-the-art retinal imaging methods and deep learning to detect and track changes in the body's microvasculature, particularly detecting & tracking chronic kidney disease.

Past research interests

Masters project - "Pattern Formation in Semiconductor Microcavities"; simulating the properties of an exciton-polariton condensate in a low-dimensional semiconductor structure.
