The Psychology Society
The Psychology Society is a great way to get to know other psychology enthusiasts and join social events and attend academic talks - all relating to the wonderful world of psychology. The social events include quizzes, movie nights, receptions and an annual dinner.

As a psychology student you will have the opportunity to study in Europe and beyond via our Erasmus and International Exchange programmes as part of your degree. The University has around 300 student exchange partners in nearly 40 countries worldwide.
Studying abroad is an excellent opportunity to discover a different country and its culture, improve your employment prospects and enjoy a completely new learning experience.

The opportunity to go abroad in my third year has been a defining experience during university. It wouldn’t have been possible without the wide range of choices and connections Edinburgh has with other great academic institutions worldwide. I went to New Zealand (Auckland), somewhere I would never have specifically chosen to visit of my own accord - but a place I now consider home and hope to return to in years to come

Our Global Community
Our undergraduate students come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and countries. This diversity ensures a stimulating environment for the sharing of ideas and experience.
In the current cohort there are over 1400 students currently studying with us in PPLS at undergraduate level. We have over 60 countries represented with students coming from all corners of the globe.
