All of the School’s subjects rank top 5 in the UK and top 30 in the world in the Times Higher Education results
The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2018 by subject results were revealed last week with great rankings from all of the subject areas in the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences.
Psychology
Psychology at the University ranks 20th in the world, and 2nd in the UK after University College London.

Linguistics and English Language
Linguistics and English Language was part of the THE subject grouping ‘languages, literatures and linguistics’ where the University ranks 27th in the world and 4th in the UK.
Philosophy
Philosophy was covered in the THE subject grouping ‘history, philosophy and theology’ where the University ranks 27th in the world and 5th in the UK.
