Speaker: Mario Cecchini (University of Edinburgh)

Title: Conjunctive memory binding as cognitive marker of Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract: In this talk, I intend to define what a “conjunctive binding” is and how it is different from other types of memory bindings used in the Alzheimer's disease research. I will briefly present results of a meta-analysis we published last year (Cecchini et al., 2022) and of a new and still not published experiment with subjective cognitive decline patients using a conjunctive memory binding test. Finally, I would like to discuss whether the conjunctive memory binding could be considered a cognitive marker of Alzheimer's disease with the data we have so far.
