Sociolinguistics reading group
Open to anyone at the university who is interested in sociolinguistics
The sociolinguistics reading group is open to anyone at the university who is interested in sociolinguistics. We meet for an hour every fortnight to discuss advanced research articles in sociolinguistics. Undergraduates, postgraduates, and staff members are all welcome.
Please note that the reading group is not a substitute for a course in sociolinguistics, and it is expected that all group members will have already completed introductory-level readings in sociolinguistics.
The convenors of this group are Lauren Hall-Lew, Tsung-Lun Alan Wan and Nina Markl.
