International & visiting students
We welcome students from across the globe to the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences each year. We currently have over 60 countries represented studying with us at undergraduate level.
The biggest challenge for me is getting used to how accessible all of my tutors, lecturers, and faculty are. I have a very interactive relationship with many of the teaching staff. I struggled getting over how informal teaching was in Edinburgh compared to America, but that's not a bad thing! I feel so comfortable asking for help or chatting to my lecturers about their lectures and subject.

Coming to Edinburgh as a visiting student
We have a range of different study options on offer depending on where you are coming from and how long you would like to spend at the University. As a visiting student, you can typically spend up to one year studying at the University before returning to your home institution to complete your degree.
