Michela Massimi, Geoff Pullum and Simon Kirby have been elected as members of the Academia Europaea, the pan-European academy of humanities, letters and sciences

They join the Academia Europaea, an academy with a membership of over 3800 leading scholars in the humanities, letters and sciences in Europe. 

It acts as a coordinator of European interest in national research agencies, encourages the advancement of excellence in interdisciplinary research and promotes a wider appreciation of the value of European research among the public of all ages.
