Title: Joining the Dots in Research on Bilingualism
Abstract: Interdisciplinarity - understood as collaboration across different fields - is definitely needed to understand the complexity of bilingualism. However, we also need to achieve better connections among research subfields. I will show how, for example, language acquisition and language attrition can be better understood if they are seen as elements of the same big picture.
