Teaching delivery 2021

Key information for new and continuing undergraduate and postgraduate taught students at the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences in the 2021/22 academic year

In academic year 2021/22, the University campus will resume its central role for teaching and learning, and all students are expected to be in Edinburgh, ready to participate in on-campus activities by the start of term.

We aim to provide a safe, engaging and fulfilling environment for you to undertake your studies. To do so we will be providing a mix of online and in-person learning and study events. While we are committed to provide as much in-person teaching as possible, the amount of in-person teaching you receive will differ depending on your programme and course choices.

Safety on campus

Central facilities, such as  central study spaces, cafés, and exercise facilities are open for your use. We’ve put into place a series of measures to allow you to safely make the most of these shared spaces, including increased cleaning regimes, reconfigured layouts, readily available hand sanitization, and one-way systems. Please be assured that your safety and that of our staff remain paramount and are central to our planning.
