The Dr Kathryn McLaren Pathology Prize for the 2015/16 academic year

Gareth Jia Hwee Neo receives The Dr Kathryn McLaren Pathology Prize from Professor Mark Arends, head of the Division of Pathology for the 2015/16 academic year.

The Dr Kathryn McLaren Pathology Prize is awarded annually to the student with the best overall performance during the second year of the medical course at Edinburgh Medical School. This year the award went to Gareth Neo.

Dr Kathryn McLaren was an academic histopathologist who was a specialist in numerous areas, particularly skin and endocrine pathology, who taught and examined at Edinburgh Medical School and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
