Professor James Boardman is the new President of the Neonatal Society

James Boardman, Professor of Neonatal Medicine, has been elected President of the Neonatal Society (09.11.17).

James was previously the General Secretary of the Society.

The Neonatal Society was founded in 1959 to bring together scientists and clinicians with an interest in the fetus and newborn. The object of the Society is the promotion of Neonatal Science.

Professor Boardman is also Scientific Director of the Jennifer Brown Research Laboratory, situated in the MRC CRH, and Principal Investigator of the Theirworld Edinburgh Birth Cohort, a world-leading research study aiming to improve the lives of babies born early and their families.
