This course is aimed at trainees, consultants and advanced practitioners in intensive care, acute and emergency medicine.

FICE is accredited by the Intensive Care Society and the British Society of Echocardiography. This course will provide participants with the theoretical knowledge for accreditation. Practical sessions take place in small groups of 2, allowing maximal hands on experience. This course offers over 3 hours of hands on scanning on normal subjects and patients with pathology.

13.30 Scanning workshop: Rule in pathology

14.45 Course test - Candidates will rotate round 3 stations: Practical (image acquisition), MCQs, Video (image interpretation)
