ECA graduates host charity costume show
Sisters and Edinburgh College of Art graduates Jemima Kirkwood (Design and Applied Arts 2010), Harriet Kirkwood (Performance Costume 2010) and Matilda Kirkwood (Design and Applied Arts 2009, PGDE 2016) are hosting a costume show event in Glasgow on the 29 July to raise money for the British Liver Trust.
All money raised on the night, or in donations beforehand, will go to the Trust. The are doing this in memory of their dear friend and fellow alumna Sheona Lockhart (Interior Design 2010), who passed away at the age of 24 due to liver failure.
The event is a catwalk show full of wonderful costumes and characters, all of which were designed and made at the Edinburgh College of Art. Sheona used to model costume shows at ECA, so it is only appropriate to mark the fifth anniversary of her passing with this event.
Jemima and her sisters would really appreciate any help you can give us towards running the show. This will go into staging, van hire, models, venue hire, lighting and sound and any promotion. Anything left over will go straight into the charity fund for the Trust.
We want to make this a show to remember and give us the best chance to raise as much money as we can for the trust on the night.
